Tonight on Survivor: Nicaragua Fabio showed that sitting back and being quiet is a great way to stay in the game. Benry learned that you can't trust Sash. Benry was voted out of Survivor tonight, after running around and talking to everyone trying to get them to vote for Fabio he ended up looking desperate and a larger threat because he is more involved in the game. By talking to everyone, all day long and trying to change their votes he placed a target on his own back. They kept Fabio around because in the long run he will be easier to control then Benry. Sash won immunity tonight, and he also has one of the hidden immunity idols. Chase has the other hidden imunity idol(Nay gave it to him last week, and no one knows he has it).
Chance won the reward tonight and choose Holly and Jane to come along with him. They got to stay in a nice little hut type house and got to shower(with soap) and sleep in beds and they all got a massage on the beach. When they first got there, there was a mirror and Chase was like "Look how skinny I am!" which was really funny, thats probably exactly how all the Housewives of Beverly Hills sound when they look in a mirror too. It was a nice reward. Even though it was bad strategy for Chase to take the women that he already had on his side...it worked out at tribal for Chase, Holly, and Jane because Sash sided with them and helped them vote off Benry.
The most annoying part of the episode was when Jane cried that they killed the chicken that they had won previously in another challenge...Did she really think they would not eat it? It's survivor and they have hardly any food. Then she made a cross for the chicken and did a prayer and cried. Then she made a heart out of seashells for the chicken...it was a little much. Maybe she should have ate some of that chicken...she is clearly losing her mind, and maybe from starvation.
Dan is still on the season, he doesn't get much screen time but he is getting very far in the game for someone that isn't very good at challenges and is fairly rich. I am suprised he is still there but he will make it far because anyone would win against him in the finals.
Sash thinks that Chase and Holly will take him to the final 3 in the game. I don't think they will. He is very sneaky and not trustworthy at all. I would be pissed if he won a million dollars. But he does have a hidden immunity idol, and that will help him go further in the game, even if it means just staying one more week.
There are only two episodes left in this season! Which is so crazy! It feels like it has gone by really fast.
It's on Wednesdays at 8pm on CBS. So make sure you tune in!

Kid's Board Game Project-Percy Jackson Board Game
This was a project that I helped my brother do. He had to make a board game for his 6th grade English class based on a book he had read. He recently finished the Percy Jackson book series, so he choose to make the game based on Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief, the first book in the series.
First we took business cards, but you could use regular squares of paper. Then we colored in the front of the business cards with a black sharpie. These were what were used as the game laying cards, we had 25 business cards in all. There were Money Cards, Weapon Cards, Trap cards(you lose one turn), and Book Trivia cards.
Next we made the board. We had a piece of cardboard already so we used that as the board, then I drew some lines for the squares you land on. We had some Styrofoam so we used that in the middle of the board to hold the cards, the game players(we used Lego guys) and the dice. We also cut out "lightning bolts" out of the leftover cardboard we had. Then we had a plastic tube that had Christmas ornaments in it, but it was empty, so we just drew windows on it and used it as a tall building(a reference to the end of the book).
After the board had it's lines drawn and the basic set up we put a sticky note on each square for what move should be on it. There were two Monster Squares, where we tied Lego monsters to it. You would need a weapon card to get past the monsters and advance in the game. At the end of the game you had to go to Ares war and roll snake eyes to advance. Then if you had $2 drachma and your lightning bolt(which you pick up on a square) then you win the game! It was a very cute game and it was fun to craft something with my brother, Aidan.
He took it to school and they were allowed to play all the games on Friday, he had a great time! I think it was such a good idea for a project and it turned out really well, I think he was proud of his work.

Bejeweling Stockings!
The other day my Mom found a bunch of fake "jewels" or gems. They come on a plastic backing and have a very sticky back. This was prefect for Bejeweling my stocking! It took me a little while to make it look good, my first attempt at a Tiara was so sad! But as long as the bottom layer is longer and larger and you make your way up in a triangle shape it looks nice. I made Cinderella's coach(By making a jewel circle and adding jewel wheels) with a tiara inside, and I also spelt out my name. The jewels were perfect because I could pick them up and move them around till I liked how it looked. This was a such a simple craft and I love it! It would be a cute idea to have your little girls do this as a Christmas craft.

BridalPlasty Blog
Bridalplasty is my new obsession! My Mom and I are now watching it every Sunday and she blogs about it http://www.buildyourownhouse.ca so she suggested that I write about it aswell. Check out that link and read her blog! It's really funny!
On Bridalplasty tonight Jessica was eliminated...only one person RSVP'd to her wedding. It was pretty sad and all the girls on the show were crying really hard. Which is hysterical because they have probably known each other for two days. I have known a lot of girls for years...and most of them I wouldn't RSVP to their wedding so...They were being overly dramatic! C'mon it's not like it's the bachelor where you are in love with a guy and you don't get a rose from him. Bridalplasty is a show about women wanting free plastic surgery and then the ultimate first place winner get's a dream wedding. A lot of the girls on the show are really pretty and don't even need any work done, they are just there for the free wedding.
Tonight Cheyenne won the "vow" competition by guessing what her fiance wanted her vos to be. They were sweet like 'be a good mother to our future children' and 'take care of our parents'. It was very sweet. I am glad she won. She ended up getting a nosejob, which looked terrifying to me! She had bruises underneath her eyes and it looked so scary! She had a good reason to want it though-a dog had bitten her nose when she was younger and she had a scar down it. I was happy she won. Other then that the girl is pretty close to perfect, even another contestant on the show calling her 'a girl from the magazines'.
The other people in the vow competiton were terrible! The fiances of these girls were saying the weirdest stuff you would vow to someone, like Kristin's fiance who said she has to vow to have sex with me whenever I want...thats sick. Vow's should be something special and romantic and a lot of the men were very crude.
On this episode they also got to choose their wedding bands, but only the first place winner get's to keep hers. They were all like $5000, $6000, and $7000!
Brande Roderick was also a 'guest' on the show tonight. I really have no idea why-but she brought this woman with her that helped write her wedding vows...She didn't really do anything on the show though, she watched the vow competition but thats really all she did. Maybe they are just putting pretty people on the show infront of the contestants...like with plastic surgery you could look like this! Liuke on game shows when you can win a brand new car, and they showcase it. Except int his case you could win new breasts or lipo, so they show you a pretty model.
The whole show concept is really sad, but also very intriguing. I do feel like all the girls in the house should probably be undergoing some sort of therapy while they are in the house. It's a big decision to get plastic surgery, and how far are they willing to go to win a free dream wedding?
