Halloween At Disneyland, California!

This Halloween was incredible. We went to Disneyland!!! We went to Mickeys Halloween Party on October 31st. It was so cool. It was a special ticketed event and we got our tickets over a month in advance. It was something my family were really looking forward too, and it didn't disappoint. We got there about 40 minutes before we were about to be let into the park. It was fun even waiting in line to get in-because almost everyone was in costume and very excited about the night we were all about to enjoy.
When we were let in(at 4pm) cast members put wristbands on us and then we were handed a trick or treat bag when we walked through the entrance. Right away when we walked in and approached Main Street you could see all of the fall decorations! There were pumpkins everywhere! And there was also a very large Mickey head pumpkin as a picture opportunity. Speaking of picture opportunity's, they were available all over the park. We went to the villain picture opportunity, and the Princess Faire in Fantasyland. We were able to get pictures with The evil witch from Snow white, Captain Hook, Cruella Devil, Jasmine, Aurora(Sleeping Beauty), and Cinderella. Everyone was so nice!
When we first arrived it was three hours till trick or treating was supposed to start, so we headed straight for Toontown. Since Toontown was closed at night during the special event. We got some funny photos and ended up getting a picture with Mickey! We rose the train a lot too because it was the fastest way to get around the park. We ended up eating at around 6:30pm before the official party started at 7pm. We ate in New Orleans Square and had the soup bread bowls(My favorite food!). I had the Clam Chowder bread bowl and my Mom had the Steak Gumbo bread bowl, my brother stuck to the classic chicken nuggets and fries. It was so delicious! Right where we were eating had a giant line forming because it was where one of the trick or treat stations was set up. So we got in line after we ate.
The lines moved pretty fast, the cast members were really good at giving out the candy quickly! They were also very nice. The best part about the treat stations, is that you stayed in line and there was another treat station every 20 feet, our bags filled up very quickly! Also because we were in New Orleans Square, and right by the water, we got to see the fog as it started billowing in...There ended up being so much fog in certain areas! It was so much fun it really added to the ambiance of the night. We trick-or-treated for hours! We got so much candy! It was incredible. We must have done every single treat trail. They also handed out healthy options, so I have a lot of apple chips, and cranraisons(so good!!).
At 8:30pm we were just leaving Tomorrowland and luckily;y we made it just in time to watch the Halloween parade! it was really fun. One of the best parts of the night was definitely the Fireworks. It was a special Halloween display and it was awesome. My brother,11, was so cute he was like "wow.." through the whole thing. It really was cool, they used a lot of the villains in it, either their voices or their theme songs. The fireworks were massive! They shot up so high. And of course they had the best Halloween song, This Is Halloween from The Nightmare Before Christmas. It was such an amazing night. It was so nice of my Mom to take us! Also she had a blast Trick-or-treating herself. It's so fun that adults can too! It was really the best Halloween, so much fun. I would totally recommend going to Disneyland for Halloween. I loved it!
We left at midnight after doing a quick amount of shopping on Main Street, my Mom got candy apples and I got a Disney scarf and Princess Scrap booking pages. We even had a bus to ourselves as we drove back to our parking lot. It was a great end to a magical day and night!
