BridalPlasty:Alexandra gets eliminated and Allison gets Lipo

Last Sunday on BridalPlasty Alexandra was eliminated, no one RSVP's to her wedding. It was really hilarious because Janessa(the brains of the operation) was the last vote to be counted and it was between Kristin and Alexandra to be going home. Janessa said "Alexandra you may have lost the Biggest Loser, but tonight you are the biggest loser." Then Janessa voted for Kristin to stay. It was a really good line.
Allison got the plastic surgery for this week, she choose to get lipo on her arms, and they also lipo'd underneath her chin aswell. Quite disgusting! Lisa Marie choose the winner of the plastic surgery from the winners of a group challenge. The group that lost was Kristin, Alexandra and Netty(Who were all in the bottom three since they lost). And the winners of the "Karma Sutra" challenge where they aranged dummies in sexual positions(which was gross) were Janessa, Chyenne and Allison.
Domunique wasn't involved because she was still on "medical leave" from last weeks Nose Job she won.
Next weeks episode looks good! It's on Sunday at 9pm on E!
Guiliana Ransic is guest staring on the episode, I really like her and I love that show Guiliana & Bill.

Happy New Year!

Kindle! How to get free books on your kindle

I got a Kindle for Christmas and so far I am in love with it! It is so sleek and very fun to play with. A lot of games are free on it, my favorite is Shuffled Row . The best part is that it is free!

On this post I will be putting links where to go for free books on Kindle. I already have over 200 free books on my Kindle. So amazing! I can't wait to travel with the Kindle, it would be beyond perfect for Air Travel. But if you do travel with it, make sure to download the books before you leave or with a USB cord to your computer(If out of the country) or charges will apply.

Bestsellers Free Books List<-This link will take you to the Bestsellers list of Kindle books on Amazon.com. This list is great because if you scroll obver and see te colum on the right, it lists the top 100 free books! This is a great tool to use on the Kindle. While I am writing this blog I am actually dowloading books to my Kindle aswell! It takes seconds for a book to download. If you are unsure about a book that you want then just press the button underneath Buy that says "Sample Book". I have over 40 samples on my Kindle. It is really great, it gives you the first chapter of any book that you choose.

For the limited time promotional offers, which include NEW free books go to this link:Free Promotional Books

All books written before 1923 are available for free on the Kindle. They are called Popular Classics on Amazon.com. Here is the link to the free popular classics on Kindle:Free Popular Classics

BridalPlasty: Dominique gets a nose job, Melissa has to go home and get a real job

This episode was all about the finer things in life. First they had the girls go to Hansen's Cakes in Los Angeles(I have driven by it so many times, but everytime I see it it's closed with bars on the window!). They were given gross cake to eat first then they were given Hansens special delicious cake secondly. I guess it makes sense that they are doing a comparison show, since these low self essteem girls have been comparing themselves to other people their whole lives. I say this only because they are competing to make themselves "better" with plastic surgery.
The main challenge was a challenge for the women to see if they could tell the difference from something fancy and expensie, to cheap and old. Some of the comparisons were a glass of wine from Bordeux or a glass of cheap wine mixed with dirt(Jenessa got this wrong and choose the dirt one which was hilarious!). Other comparisons were between cheap champagne and expensive champagne, and Kobe beef and regular beef. Allison kept tucking her napkin into the top of her shirt instead of placing it on her lap, which was clearly disapointing to Shanna Moekler. The competiton ended up coming down to Alexandra and Dominique. They had to identify cake. Dominique won and was whisked away to her nose job!
When she came back, she looked terrible! It was frightening. She looked in SO much pain...I am really hoping that it turns out to look really nice!
Kristens boob job from last week was revealed tonight, she obviously loves them. She kept walking arund naked...super weird. They are huge! She is obviously still in pain, because every single time they showed her she had an ice pack on them.
Melissa was sent home, only Jenessa RSVP'd to her wedding. I felt sad about it because I liked Melissa a lot more then Lisa Marie and Netty....so oh well!
Lisa Marie and Netty were the other two girls in the bottom three, but they both got enough RSVP's to stay in the house another week.
BridalPlasty is on E! Sundays, 9pm.

Survivor NiCARAgua: FABIO WINS A MILLION DOLLARS!

Survivor: NiCARAgua season 21 ended appropriatly with Fabio(Jud) a 21 year old from St.Louis winning the million dollars. We were so excited over here! My Mom and I were clapping everytime Fabio beat the odds and stayed another tribal council, then when he won(the vote was 5-4) we were elated!
Such an exciting final episode. Fabio won the last three immunity challenges, two puzzles and one endurance. He is so amazing. At the final tribal before the vote for the winner Holly asked Fabio if he had waited too long to finally start playing the game and win the immunitys, and he responded that he started at the perfect time. He played the game with such intergrity and was so thoughtful and sweet through the entire season. I cannot say enough nice things about him, he truly deserved the win. He was so sweet when his family got brought up at the final tribal vote and he got teary eyed and said that his family really was the gasoline he needed to maintain in the game, and that's where he drew the strength to win those immunity challeges and ultimatly win the title of the Sole Survivor.
The Reunion show was good too, Shannon looked like the asshole he is. Holly looked GREAT at the reunion show, she was so pretty! Chase who got second in the game with four votes cast for him to win got the chance to play a guitar and sing, he wants to be a musician. He was good. Sash looked a lot better on the reunion show, he is actually a really good looking guy. I guess you forget when you watch people scheming all the time.
They showed a preview for next season of Survivor. It's going to be called Survivor: Redemption Island . Where if you get voted out you go live solitarily till the next person is voted out, then you duel, and this continues. Until later in the game(probably the merge) when one person(the winner of all the duels) will return to the tribe. it's a cool idea. They also did sort of hint on the show that there would be returning Survivor contestants. The ones hinted were: Coach, Rupert, Cerie, Russel, and Boston Rob. I'm not positive that they were be on next season, starting February 16th 2011. It would make sense if they were because It's called Redemption Island.

All in all I am very pleased with how this Season ended, congratulations to Fabio! You deserved the win!

The Housewives of Beverly Hills-Lisa Vanderpump really has the best pumps!

There was such drama tonight on The Housewives of Beverly Hills. I mean that's not suprising because it's a show on Bravo. The ladies went all out tonight for a civalized fight. A dinner fight!(No food was throw, except for lot's of martini's were thrown back).

Camille had a dinner party on tonight's episode and invited all of the other ladies to join her at her home. By home I mean mansion, naturally. Camille also invited this weird lady that the show "Medium" is based on. Lisa Vanderpump was funny tonight when she said in a private interview, "She was her sidekick..oh I mean pychic." Lisa Vanderpump is so great on the show! Did you see her pink Lou boutoins tonight? They were gorgeous! And they were signed! That is so fabulous.
Anyways back to that lady the medium one, she was so crazy! She was smoking a fake cigarette, which would have been funny if she wasn't so serious about it! What a creep. She was really rude to Kyle at the table too.
The saddest part of the episode was the end when Kim had to go home in a limo by herself, and the rest of the housewives took a limo together(minus Camille, who stayed at home with her "best friend"/hairdresser and the medium crazy woman to talk smack about Kyle.)
I guess I shouldn't really feel bad for Kim since she got to go home in a LIMO! That's awesome!
So the fights were between Kyle and Camille(about the New York fight and Camile being called a delusional bitch by Kyle). And the second fight was between Taylor and Kim, I don't really know why they were fighting. It was confusing because everyone was talking over everyone else at the table and saying mean things. The pyshic told Kyle that she would never have a good emotional marriage with her husband which was mean. I don't think you should listen to people who smoke fake cigarettes though, it's so strange. Adrienne and Lisa stayed out of the fighting.
I love the show, but it's so dramatic! It makes my fights seem a lot less. Also I know Housewives and I have never heard of any getting in fights like they do...I'm also not watching them on TV! So it shows you, drama get's TV time!
The Housewives of Beverly Hills is on Bravo at 10pm every Thursday.

Survivor:NiCARAgua, Jane the tribe has spoken.

Jane was voted out tonight. The vote was entirely against her. She knew it was going to be her when she asked at camp and Holly, Chase and Sash told her she would be the one going. She was so mad that instead of trying to rally Danny and Fabio(Judd the stud!) onto her team she gave up and decided that her best option was to take the water and throw it on the fire. Jane stated it as "The first woman to start the fire, the last woman to put it out." Which was ridiculous. I understand that she was upset but she should have been more strategic, instead she came off looking hotheaded and crazy. The reason that she was voted out was because everyone knew they would not win the million dollars if up against Jane. A few jury members have already stated they would have voted Jane to win the money. It would have been stupid to bring her to the final three.

Fabio won immunity, which I was so happy about! My Mom and I started clapping we were so excited! He is our favorite. He was also so sweet with his Mom on the show tonight.

The reward was a family based challenge where there loved ones flew in and participated in a challenge with the Survivors. It was very emotional and touching. It really humanized each and every person. Even Sash! Which is saying a lot. So Chase won and he chose Sash and Holly to come with him. They went on a nice boat and ate food with their familys. Except their family's didn't eat anything they just sat on the edge of the boat and watched the Survivors eat....awkward!

The funniest part of the episode was when Chase got back from the reward and Fabio was pissed at Chase because Chase had promised earlier that day that he would take Fabio with him if he could on the reward, which he didn't. So Fabio was so mad! Chase got back to camp and Fabio asked "Did you have a great time?" and Chase was responded "Actually, yeah, it was really great!". Then Fabio with the best line of the episode "That was a rethorical question." So funny!! I love Fabio!

The second best part of the episode was when Jane found out that she was being voted out and was really pissed about it and she said to the camera that Chase better not come back to North Carolina. They are both from the same place. That was so funny!

Finally the third best part of the episode was at tribal council when Jeff Probst was asking the Survivors questions about the vote, and Jane said she was being voted out. Then Jeff was like 'My Mom would want to know why if it's three vs. three then why wouldn't you try for a split vote?" And he did it in his "Mom's" voice. He is so cute!

There is only one episode left of Survivor!!! So make sure to tune in this Sunday at 8pm on CBS. It's a two hour finale and then an hour reunion show right after! I am so excited!

Homemade Kindle Covers!

My Mom bought me a kindle for Christmas! I am very excited about this! I read so much that this will be such an easy way to be able to take all my books with me easily. Also there are a lot of books that are available for free on the kindle! All books published before 1936 are free! The also choose 40 different current books a month that are released for free! It's so exciting! I am going to be reading all the time when I get it.
I looked online how much the Kindle covers were and they were all around $59.99! Sixty dollars! That is way too much for a cover. It's like half the price of the kindle! That's insane! So I decided to make my own. I made two covers they were very simple to make. First I traced the kindle on a piece of cardboard then I doubled the length so that it would fit it like a book case. I also allowed half an inch for the 'binding' part of the book case. Then I covered with fabric and sewed it together. I also sewed different colored fabric on the inside to hold the kindle still and keep it secure in the cover.
The first one I made I sewed the scraps of the fabric onto the middle of each side of the cover so I can tie it and make a bow when it's closed. The second one I made I used a button to keep it closed and then added ribbon for decoration.
I really like how they both turned out! It was very simple and in all the whole price for the two covers would be under $5.00 because all I used was fabric and cardboard. Very simple, very cost efficient!

Girl power: Nat and Kat won the Amazing Race, both buying a hat & a cat with million dollars!

It was the season finale of the Amazing Race! Unfortunatly the end of the race was in Los Angeles. I live in Los Angeles, it isn't that amazing. Nat and Kat won the million dollars. The only reason I like this is that their names rhyme. Did anyone else notice how much they touch each other through the race? I was really hoping that when they won they would just start kissing already! Lets be honest, they were staring into each others eyes!! C'mon! They should have done it, it would have been the best ending for the Amazing Race. Now that would have been freaking Amazing! They were the first all girl team to ever win the Amazing Race.
Brooke and Claire(Flare) the home shopping hosts came in second. If you are sad you won't be seeing them anymore, then it's your lucky did because they will be returning next season.
Jill and her boyfriend(forgot his name already!) came in third. I really liked her, but he was annoying. He thought he was better than her and clearly he was mistaken.
If you are sad about the Amazing Race being over then don't you worry! The show will be back the end of February. Next season will be called "Unfinished Business" and it will be taking past teams from previous seasons that did not win and want a second chance at the money. I'll be watching, will you?

Bridal Plasty "Unveiled" maybe instead of plastic surgery, just a larger veil?

Tonight on Low Self Esteem Brides...no wait I have that wrong. Tonight on BRIDALPLASTY, the show started with Chyenne very much in pain from her nose job which she got last week. She compared it to feeling like she got hit in the face with a hammer...which turned out to be entirely accurate! She had ice packs on her face whenever they showed her and she has huge bruises under her eyes. So it doesn't look good quite yet!
After a wedding dress competition that was judged by some celebrity stylist that I have never heard of, Dominique, Alexandra(from the Biggest Loser) and Jamie were in the bottom three. Alexandra was the most shocked which was really funny. She thought she would get a 10/10 rating on her dress, and she got a 4/10. When the stylist was trying to say she had J.Lo's skin tone she didn't understand and said "Longoria?" Which was so laugh out loud funny that she thinks she looks like Eva Longoria! So funny!
Kristen won the wedding dress challenge with the highest score 9/10. She decided to have breast augmentation. She is a very classy girl and when she came out of surgery her first words were "Do I have tits?" Such sophistication! Dr.Dubrow is doing all plastic surgery on the show.
Jaime was eliminated tonight and no one RSVP's to her wedding. I thought she was pretty boring on the show before but tonight I liked her more because I did a beer count with her. Every scene she was in she had a beer in her hand it was hilarious! Anyways 1, 2, 3! Three beers, three different occasions!

The wedding dress store they were at was in Beverly Hills and it was called "Winnie Coutour".
Tips that they gave for wedding dresses, which types are flattering to which body types"
Mermaid Dress- For a bombshell bride, great for camoflaging curves.
-Princess Dress- Very showy and extravagent.
-Drop waist/fit&flare- Great for dancing and moving around comfortably.
-Ball Gown dress- Flattering to shorter girls, not good for taller girls.

So now there has been a nose job, and a bood job...Next I think they should find them real jobs! Let's turn it into Apprentice Plasty and they will all be able to afford their own dream wedding!

Survivor:Ni'CARA'gua-Benry the tribe has spoken!

Tonight on Survivor: Nicaragua Fabio showed that sitting back and being quiet is a great way to stay in the game. Benry learned that you can't trust Sash. Benry was voted out of Survivor tonight, after running around and talking to everyone trying to get them to vote for Fabio he ended up looking desperate and a larger threat because he is more involved in the game. By talking to everyone, all day long and trying to change their votes he placed a target on his own back. They kept Fabio around because in the long run he will be easier to control then Benry. Sash won immunity tonight, and he also has one of the hidden immunity idols. Chase has the other hidden imunity idol(Nay gave it to him last week, and no one knows he has it).
Chance won the reward tonight and choose Holly and Jane to come along with him. They got to stay in a nice little hut type house and got to shower(with soap) and sleep in beds and they all got a massage on the beach. When they first got there, there was a mirror and Chase was like "Look how skinny I am!" which was really funny, thats probably exactly how all the Housewives of Beverly Hills sound when they look in a mirror too. It was a nice reward. Even though it was bad strategy for Chase to take the women that he already had on his side...it worked out at tribal for Chase, Holly, and Jane because Sash sided with them and helped them vote off Benry.
The most annoying part of the episode was when Jane cried that they killed the chicken that they had won previously in another challenge...Did she really think they would not eat it? It's survivor and they have hardly any food. Then she made a cross for the chicken and did a prayer and cried. Then she made a heart out of seashells for the chicken...it was a little much. Maybe she should have ate some of that chicken...she is clearly losing her mind, and maybe from starvation.
Dan is still on the season, he doesn't get much screen time but he is getting very far in the game for someone that isn't very good at challenges and is fairly rich. I am suprised he is still there but he will make it far because anyone would win against him in the finals.
Sash thinks that Chase and Holly will take him to the final 3 in the game. I don't think they will. He is very sneaky and not trustworthy at all. I would be pissed if he won a million dollars. But he does have a hidden immunity idol, and that will help him go further in the game, even if it means just staying one more week.
There are only two episodes left in this season! Which is so crazy! It feels like it has gone by really fast.
It's on Wednesdays at 8pm on CBS. So make sure you tune in!

Kid's Board Game Project-Percy Jackson Board Game

This was a project that I helped my brother do. He had to make a board game for his 6th grade English class based on a book he had read. He recently finished the Percy Jackson book series, so he choose to make the game based on Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief, the first book in the series.

First we took business cards, but you could use regular squares of paper. Then we colored in the front of the business cards with a black sharpie. These were what were used as the game laying cards, we had 25 business cards in all. There were Money Cards, Weapon Cards, Trap cards(you lose one turn), and Book Trivia cards.

Next we made the board. We had a piece of cardboard already so we used that as the board, then I drew some lines for the squares you land on. We had some Styrofoam so we used that in the middle of the board to hold the cards, the game players(we used Lego guys) and the dice. We also cut out "lightning bolts" out of the leftover cardboard we had. Then we had a plastic tube that had Christmas ornaments in it, but it was empty, so we just drew windows on it and used it as a tall building(a reference to the end of the book).

After the board had it's lines drawn and the basic set up we put a sticky note on each square for what move should be on it. There were two Monster Squares, where we tied Lego monsters to it. You would need a weapon card to get past the monsters and advance in the game. At the end of the game you had to go to Ares war and roll snake eyes to advance. Then if you had $2 drachma and your lightning bolt(which you pick up on a square) then you win the game! It was a very cute game and it was fun to craft something with my brother, Aidan.

He took it to school and they were allowed to play all the games on Friday, he had a great time! I think it was such a good idea for a project and it turned out really well, I think he was proud of his work.

Bejeweling Stockings!

The other day my Mom found a bunch of fake "jewels" or gems. They come on a plastic backing and have a very sticky back. This was prefect for Bejeweling my stocking! It took me a little while to make it look good, my first attempt at a Tiara was so sad! But as long as the bottom layer is longer and larger and you make your way up in a triangle shape it looks nice. I made Cinderella's coach(By making a jewel circle and adding jewel wheels) with a tiara inside, and I also spelt out my name. The jewels were perfect because I could pick them up and move them around till I liked how it looked. This was a such a simple craft and I love it! It would be a cute idea to have your little girls do this as a Christmas craft.

BridalPlasty Blog

Bridalplasty is my new obsession! My Mom and I are now watching it every Sunday and she blogs about it http://www.buildyourownhouse.ca so she suggested that I write about it aswell. Check out that link and read her blog! It's really funny!
On Bridalplasty tonight Jessica was eliminated...only one person RSVP'd to her wedding. It was pretty sad and all the girls on the show were crying really hard. Which is hysterical because they have probably known each other for two days. I have known a lot of girls for years...and most of them I wouldn't RSVP to their wedding so...They were being overly dramatic! C'mon it's not like it's the bachelor where you are in love with a guy and you don't get a rose from him. Bridalplasty is a show about women wanting free plastic surgery and then the ultimate first place winner get's a dream wedding. A lot of the girls on the show are really pretty and don't even need any work done, they are just there for the free wedding.
Tonight Cheyenne won the "vow" competition by guessing what her fiance wanted her vos to be. They were sweet like 'be a good mother to our future children' and 'take care of our parents'. It was very sweet. I am glad she won. She ended up getting a nosejob, which looked terrifying to me! She had bruises underneath her eyes and it looked so scary! She had a good reason to want it though-a dog had bitten her nose when she was younger and she had a scar down it. I was happy she won. Other then that the girl is pretty close to perfect, even another contestant on the show calling her 'a girl from the magazines'.
The other people in the vow competiton were terrible! The fiances of these girls were saying the weirdest stuff you would vow to someone, like Kristin's fiance who said she has to vow to have sex with me whenever I want...thats sick. Vow's should be something special and romantic and a lot of the men were very crude.
On this episode they also got to choose their wedding bands, but only the first place winner get's to keep hers. They were all like $5000, $6000, and $7000!
Brande Roderick was also a 'guest' on the show tonight. I really have no idea why-but she brought this woman with her that helped write her wedding vows...She didn't really do anything on the show though, she watched the vow competition but thats really all she did. Maybe they are just putting pretty people on the show infront of the contestants...like with plastic surgery you could look like this! Liuke on game shows when you can win a brand new car, and they showcase it. Except int his case you could win new breasts or lipo, so they show you a pretty model.
The whole show concept is really sad, but also very intriguing. I do feel like all the girls in the house should probably be undergoing some sort of therapy while they are in the house. It's a big decision to get plastic surgery, and how far are they willing to go to win a free dream wedding?

Two Layer Chocolate Cake

Cool whip has been my friend this week, there is litterally nothing easier to frost with. It is so easy! I just have to put it on with a spoon and smooth it out. So easy! So I had half my cake mix left and my Brother had already finished the first cake I made so I decided to be adventourous and make a two layer cake! Yay! So I took two pie tins and made half the boxed cake mix(2 eggs, 1/3 cup oil, 1/2 cup water). Then I put half of the mixture into one tin, and the other half into the second tin. I also took a fork and ran it through the mixture while turning the tin in a circle. It made a nice pattern on top of the cakes. I was so pleased when they came out after baking for 20 minutes. Then I let them cool for half an hour. Always wait for your cakes to cool, or your frosting with slip right off and not look nice. Then I found some chocolate fudge in the fridge so I warmed it up in a glass in the microwave for a minute and then I pouredit onto the top of the first cake and then I placed the second cake on top of it. The fudge acted as a binding, or a glue. A very yummy glue! You could also use cool whip to do this. Then my cake was assembled and I poured the rest of my cool whip on top of my second teir and volia! It was finished! This was so simple, and so easy! Anyone could do it. It tastes fantastic and it really looks beautiful. Plus my brother loves it!

Simple Chocolate Cake with Whipped Topping

This was definitely a hit with my younger brother. I think he likes this the best out of everything I have ever made in the kitchen. He even told me I could have my own show, like Cake Boss. So this chocolate cake recipe was a real winner! I just used a regular cake mix from the store. I only used half of the box and I saved the other half. Half of the box made one cake in a simple tin pie tray and 6 cupcakes. I baked it for 20 minutes. The cake was soft and delicious. The only ingredients I needed were 2 eggs, 1/3 cup oil and 1/2 cup water. I also bought one container of cool whip. I only used half the container of cool whip. To assemble the cake all I did was 'frost' the cake in the pie tin with cool whip and then I cut three of the cupcake in half and layed them in a circle on the top of the cake. Then I iced them with cool whip as well. Keep refrigerated because of the cool whip! Simple and sooo good!

New Shoes!

My Mom ordered these shoes online for me! I am in love with them. If only I could learn to walk in them! I am trying though, I am working on walking across my living room, then I'll see where I can go from there. They are so adorable though. They have a leather bow on top and they are black and white with a pink insole. They are so high! They are four inches for the heel and they have a platform of an inch under the toe part of the shoe. They are ordered from Kohls.com under the Candies section. I love Candies! They have the cutest clothes and they have adorable dresses. Plus right now they have a line designed by Britney Spears available. They also have adorable jewelery and accessories for sale. I got the shoes for an awesome price, I am very happy with what they look like, and they fit which is great for something I bought online!

Spaghetti For Dinner

I made spaghetti yesterday for dinner and it was delicious! I chopped one tomato then sprinkled with salt and pepper. Then I chopped half a red onion(chunky), and I add about a large palm full of chopped carrots(that were previously frozen). Then I heated my pre-made meatballs up, and set everything to the side. Then I boiled the salted water and added in linguine noodles(half a box). When I drained the noodles I put the tomatoes, red onions, and carrots with olive oil into the pot that I cooked the noodles. When the onions were sweating(a loose white color) I added the meatballs and about a small tablespoon of Taco seasoning(my favorite!). Then I added in the tomato sauce and then when it was simmering I added in the drained linguine noodles. Then I let heat for about 4 minutes and served. It was very delicious! It even smelt good when I was cleaning the dishes! Very simple and delicious dinner, made in 20 minutes.

Eggs and Toast

We all like ours served differently! So I thought I would post all the dissferent eggs I have to style and serve.

Brownies!

I made these brownies the other day, they are so good! I made them from the box and it couldn't be any more simple or easy. All I needed was one egg and 1/3 cup of oil. I made the Ghirardelli fudge kind. The best part was that it came with this chocolate package that you pour onto the brownies when they are done so they are super shiny, and very chocolaty! Yum!

Old School Pictures

I had some old school pictures of Aidan, my brother, in my wallet and I found a frame that was not being used. So last night I put in the two pictures. As a background for them I used lined paper, since they are school pictures, I thought it went with the theme. I like how it looks!

Scarf Headband With Flower

I loved the headband so much, I made two more! These are both with 6 stitches cast one, and both approximately 12 inches long. I just have to sew on the buttons and they will be finished. I love how they look! So cute!

Scarf Headband

I was going to make a scarf the other day, but then I decided--why make a scarf when I can make into headband! It takes 30-45 minutes to make one of these. First you have to cast on 6 or 7 stitches(depending on how thick you would like it). Then I knit about 12 inches. When I finished I sewed a button onto one end and then you can adjust how tight you want it on your head. Then I also knit another mini headband, cast on 4 stitches. That is about 6 inches. Then I folded it and curled it into itself to make a "flower" that I sewed together on the bottom to keep it's form. Then I sewed it to the main headband scarf. The sewing only takes a few minutes, very simple. I love it! It looks really cute on and I thi9nk it's most versatile then a scarf. It will look super cute during these winter months!

What's For Dinner-Quick Healthy Sidedish

I made this last week for my family, it turned out to be very hearty and filling. It is very healthy for you, and excellent for a side dish on your table for dinner! First I boiled kidney beans(canned) and frozen corn for 15 minutes. Then I drained and put back into the pot with balsamic vinegar and a little olive oil. Then I added green beans(canned) and about a cup of precooked rice. Then I cooked for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. It was very simple and very healthy. I recommend making it for sure!

To be Framed

These pictures were taken at Disneyland, California. They are from the California sign. Luckily for me, my name can be spelt using a few of the letters. I just printed there out and now I need to buy a frame and then I will be done! I am really looking forward to how this is going to look!

Halloween ScrapBook Pictures

Here are a few Halloween Scrapbook pages that I worked on yesterday. I just went and printed out some of our Disney Halloween photos. This scrapbook has been really fun to make! I saved my wristbands from the event, along with the map, parking ticket, allt he reciepts, our tickets, and treat bags. I still have two more pages to finish, and I need to print out a few more pictures.
